To end our topic on Community, we remembered all the people who help us in our community and held a liturgy to show our appreciation for them.
Fizzy Fun
In Science, class 4 investigated whether gas has weight. To do this, we weighed three different types of pop. Then we stirred the pop, to make it flat before weighing it again. The pop which had the biggest difference in weight when fizzy compared to flat, was the Pepsi.
Sharing a story…
We had a lovely afternoon with our friends from year 4.
They came along to our class and read some of our favourite stories to us.
Afterwards we made our own mini books to match.
We all had a lovely time.
90th Birthday celebrations
Class 4 took part in a range of activities as part of our school’s 90th birthday. We ordered images from each decade from 1928 – 2018, compared school in 1928 with school today and designed posters about important world events in 1928. With mass and a party lunch, we certainly had a great day!
Calendar craft
Year 4 are excited about bringing home their fabulous calendars. Here is a sneak peek.

Christmas storytelling
Year 4 had fun with Adam Bushnell today, planning Christmas stories about a Bad Santa and a Knight saving Christmas Eve.
Called Liturgy
Today, we ended our ‘Called’ topic by holding a liturgy. We reminded ourselves of our learning throughout.
