As Prayer Leaders, we are:

  • Role models for others in our school.
  • Serving the school and the community by supporting the prayer life within school.
  • Supporting community-based events in school.
  • Working together as a team to carry out tasks to the best of our ability.

In our role as Prayer Leaders:

  • We support and encourage prayer across all classes and age ranges.
  • We help everyone to participate fully in traditional prayers.
  • We write our own prayers to offer comfort, support, and to encourage others to feel more deeply connected to God.
  • We think of different ideas for prayer and share them to inspire others to pray in many different ways.
  • We support Mrs Ashton and other teachers with whole school prayer and collective worship.
  • We take care of our prayer spaces across school and look after our resources.
