Welcome to Class R
In Reception Class, we enjoy learning in many different ways; we develop through play, child-initiated learning and adult-led activities, constantly building on our academic, social, emotional and physical development. We are happy, confident and independent learners because we are actively involved in talking about our experiences and by sharing our ideas. We learn both co-operatively and independently and celebrate our achievements with our friends, teachers and families. We are really busy ‘Letting Our Light Shine,’ in Reception class and always have so much fun both inside and out.
At Our Lady of Lourdes, we value a creative curriculum and therefore many of the adults in our school will be involved in our learning journey, helping us to develop by sharing their own skills, specialisms and talents. We are all one big family who work together to ‘Let Our Light Shine’. Please enjoy exploring our blog and seeing our wonderful work.
