Year 6 children have had a fantastic Christmas party. We played games, enjoyed our party meal and even had a visit from Santa.

Year 6 had a very festive day, helping at the fayre and enjoying Christmas dinner.

Year 6 had a great time doing some coding with staff from Barclays. They created their own games on scratch.

Year 6 had an amazing time being archaeologists. We found source material in the sand and then pieced together the vases. We discussed what the items showed us and made comments about their reliability as a source. Well done Year 6.

Year 6 children had a fabulous day supporting Children in Need. Well done to all of the children for completing some Children in Need activities and for donating money to wear non-uniform.

This week, Year 6 children have been writing magazine articles linked to anti-bullying. We then shared our work with Year 3 so that we could explore the messages of choosing respect. 

Our Year 6 children had a wonderful time at the safety carousel. We heard important safety messages about online safety, safety at home, water safety and even keeping safe near power stations.

Today Class 5 and Class 6 started their Greek vase models. We blew up balloons and made paper mache. We then started to cover the balloons with the mixture of flour and water to create a vase shape. We will update the blog with our progress as we make the vases over the next few weeks.
