Today the PDSA came into school. The PDSA are a charity that work with sick and injured animals across the country. They paid a joint visit to Class 4 and Class 5 to teach us about the important work that brave animals carry out every day. It was great to learn from them about animals and all that they do for us.
Class 4 had a fabulous time at the party today.
Mrs Wilson joined us for a liturgy last Thursday afternoon. We learned lots about loving ourselves, God and others.
Class 4 had fun today, working in groups to complete rolls and balances in PE as part of our Gymnastics work.
It was a fantastic morning, sharing all our hard work on our Romans projects. Mrs Smith and Mrs Pearn were fascinated by the variety of different ways which people had chosen to present their work. Excellent work, everyone.
Classes 3 and 4 had a great time learning new and practising some old skipping skills with Gail today. This is the start of our preparations for the festival.
Class 4 held a liturgy to remember all our learning over our People topic. We learned about many of Jesus’ descendants and looked at our own family trees.
Today, we made our own digestive systems as part of our Science work on Humans and other animals. It was great fun, but very messy!
What a fab day Class 4 have had! Our day started with a surprise visit from a Roman General’s wife, Claudia. She taught us some Latin, how to dress as a proper Roman and how they lived. We even got to look at real artefacts.
As if that wasn’t enough fun, we all took part in the fun run alongside Class 1.
