In our science lessons we have been studying space. Today we made scale models of the solar system in the hall. We found that (in our scale model) the moon was a peppercorn, the Earth was a pea and the sun would be a basketball! We estimated the distances and then made the models correctly to scale. We were amazed at how far away the sun actually is from our planet.ย
