We celebrated national poetry today by reading examples of a Kenning, Acrostic and Haiku about Roman soldiers. We even did our own actions for the Kenning and took part in the live lesson on the BBC. It was great fun and we learned lots about writing poems. Some of us wrote our own funny alliterative lines.
