Christmas Card Competition

21 December 2016 By spidrwebadmin

The school council held a Christmas card competition in partnership with Durham Constabulary.  There were some fantastic entries from all of the children and Bella from Class 3 won second place from the hundreds of entries across County Durham! Well done Bella.

Laura and Jet from Durham Constabulary came to award Bella her prize at a special assembly this week.

All aboard the Polar Express!

7 December 2016 By spidrwebadmin

After listening to the views of the children in our school the pupil voice groups wanted to provide a magical day on the polar express for our children.

We came to school in pyjamas ready to board The polar express. We had fun activities in our classroom before boarding the train where we received hot chocolate and cookies and then we watched the movie.

A great time was had by all.

Road Safety Competition.

25 November 2016 By spidrwebadmin

We would like to say a big ‘Thank- you’  to all of the children who entered our Road Safety Competition, led by our Junior Road Safety Team.

The competition was all about reminding ourselves how to keep safe when walking in the dark. Here are our Road Safety team (Georgia, Katie and Harley) in front of the Road Safety notice board, presenting our KS1  and KS2 winners (Matthew, Gracie, Lydia and Milly) with their prizes. Well done everyone.

Kindness at Christmas- Shoe box appeal.

23 November 2016 By spidrwebadmin

Thank- you so much for all of your kind donations regarding our Christmas shoe box collection. All of the boxes have now been collected and we are sure they will make someone extremely happy this Christmas.  We placed our boxes alongside our special tree which has our remembrances of family, friends and loved ones on it.
