Today we learnt about Olympic sports as part of our sports week activities. We also learnt about the Olympic Rings and made our our medals. It was great fun!

We have had lots of fun today launching sports week with Samson and Delilah from SAFC.

A big well done to our boys and girls from year 1 and year 2 who were chosen to represent Our Lady of Lourdes School at the Soccarena Football Festival today.

The children played really well and were an absolute credit to the school.

Well done to our Year 6 Netball team who have taken part in competitions with other schools, this term.

Here they are playing in their latest competition, where they came second. Congratulations girls.

Four pupils from Year 6 entered the Mountain biking competition at Dene Community School on 10th June. Fortunately, the weather stayed fair and all the children had an amazing time.

Year 2 had a fantastic day, albeit a chilly day, at Shotton Hall Banqueting Suites, carrying out lots of adventure activities and problem solving tasks.
