Gail, from Skipping School, came in to work with year 3 and 4 to practise a variety of skipping skills. She was really impressed with our skills and we had plenty of practise for the festival.
Mrs Smith is so proud of our fab footballers. They showed excellent sportsmanship and team effort at the festival today. Well done to Cameron for scoring a hat trick in the first match!
Year 5 were very lucky to have a yoga session this week as part of our anti-bullying activities. They practised calming moves and stretches.
Year 5 and 6 girls took part in a high 5 netball festival at Dene Community School. Despite the cold, they had a good day.
KS2 children took part in the Cross Country running festival at East Durham College. Jack M was the fastest on the day, coming in a brilliant 27th. Well done to everyone. It was a tough course.
Sports coaches from SAFC came into class today to talk to us about healthy living. We were set a challenge to design a healthy living poster to show others how to stay healthy.
We had lots of fun learning a dance routine our dance coach today.
We had a great time today learning some hula hooping skills with Hoopstarz.
