Well done to our Yer 3 and 4 footballers, who took part in the tournament at Soccarena on 5th March. They all played well together as a team.
Class 4 had fun today, working in groups to complete rolls and balances in PE as part of our Gymnastics work.
Well done to our girls’ football team, made up of Year 5 and 6 girls, who took part in the football festival this week. They represented our school wonderfully. Well done.
Well done to our Year 6 children who took part in the Tag Rugby festival. Our whole class attended, forming A and B teams. Although we didn’t place in the semi-final, the coaches were extremely impressed with all of the fantastic play. Here are some of our children at the festival.
A group of Key Stage 2 children took part in the running festival. It was pretty tough keeping a steady pace but they all did very well. A big well done to Tyler, who came an amazing 9th in the year 3/4 boys race, the fastest in school.
A team of Year 5 children went to the Beacon of Light to take part in a World Cup competition. We were asked to represent Japan against other schools,each representing a country of the World Cup. The team had their photo taken with the Premier League trophy. It was a great afternoon.
Our Year 3 and 4 children attended the Athletics festival today. Our girls relay team made it through to the final. We are proud of all their efforts.
Four of our Year 6 children took part in the mountain biking competition. Well done to all of them.
Class 3 and 4 attended the Catholic Schools Skipping Festival on 4th May. We are very proud to say that Anya came third in the Double Bounce, Tia came second in the pretzel and our Terrific Ten team of Jude, Lilly, Crystal, Daniel, Cameron, Eve, Tia, Kennedy, Ella and Sophie won Gold in Keep the Pot Boiling.
