We have had a lovely couple of weeks watching our ducklings hatch and grow.
It had been such a wonderful experience for us all and we will be sad to see them go back to the farm tomorrow.

This morning we received a special delivery.
A lady brought us a box and inside we found six eggs!
We all wondered what was inside them.
Here are some of our predictions…
* Dragons
* Chicks
* Unicorns
* Crabs

Today we hosted our Annual Ugly Bug Ball but there was not one Ugly Bug in sight!
Everyone came to school dressed in their favourite, colourful clothes and we had everything from beautiful butterflies to pretty, little ladybirds and even some very handsome spiders!
We danced the morning away at the Ball and finished the day with a lovely picnic.
Thank you to all of the parents who made their children look absolutely amazing today!
Today we found a bee lying really still in our outdoor area.
We have been learning about how important bees are for our world and knew that we needed to save it.
With the the help of our teachers we were able to give the bee some sugar water and to our amazement we could see the bee drinking it!
It soon started moving around and when we checked later it had flown away!
What a lovely, sunny week we’ve had this week.
We have all enjoyed ourselves playing and learning outside in the sunshine.
We even managed to have PE outside too!
Please remember to send in sun hats and apply sunscreen before school as the warmer weather approaches.
Today we enjoyed our first Forest School session with Lynsey from Sc.Out.Ed.
When we got outside we found a note left from the fairy Esmerelda asking for our help to find the eggs left by the fire bird.
We showed off our amazing teamwork by working together to build a nest for the eggs.
“We’re going to build it on a flat surface so there’s no thorns,” – Emily.
“We’ll put some daisies in for air fresheners,” – Emily.
“Ours will be camouflaged in the grass,” – Thomas.
“Camouflaged makes it invisible!” – Daisy.
“We’ve hidden them from the foxes,” – Bobby.
“I’m keeping my egg warm by putting the grass on top,” – Alice J.
We would like to wish all of our families a very happy and holy Easter…
