Year 6 love using the mini-gym equipment during their PE lessons.
Look at the amazing Victorian wall paper our Year 6 children have been making. They based their designs on William Morris, the Victorian artist, and used floral patterns. The children used print tiles and printing paint to create their designs.
Year 6 had the most amazing time at the Youth Village. They were able to step back and reflect and make some new friends. They took part in liturgies, dancing, drama and art. Some of us even had some hot chocolate before bed. As always, the children were outstandingly well behaved. I was so proud of them and what a pleasure it was to go away with them.
Year 6 children had an amazing time at their Christmas Party. We played musical statues, corners and pin the nose on the snowman. We even had our own photo booth. We also had a special visit from Santa and we loved spending time enjoying our presents. Merry Christmas Year 6
The Year 6 children have been enjoying an afternoon of Christmas Stories with Adam Bushnell. We know how important it is to read and enjoy stories together.
We have been designing Christmas decorations as part of our design and technology lessons. We followed a brief and designed a product customers would like.
We had a great time and enjoyed selling our Christmas products at the Coffee Morning.
Year 6 children had a brilliant time at the Safety Carousel. We worked with the police, road safety team, fire-brigade and also life-guards from the RNLI to learn about different ways to keep safe.
We have some fantastic gymnasts in Year 6. All of the children have been looking at creating their own sequences using balances.
All of the Year 6 children had a brilliant time in science. They looked at working scientifically to explore refraction. They were able to look at how light finds it more difficult to travel through denser mediums like water. We looked at different patterns and shapes and how they appear to change, when viewed through water.
