Very well done to the Year 4 individual skill skippers on their fabulous performance at the Skipping Festival.
We were very happy to welcome Fr Peter into our class to answer some of our questions. Fr Peter is very new to our parish so it was great to chat with him and get to know him a bit better.
We really enjoyed our first Outdoor Learning session. We made miniature shelters and tested them to see if they were watertight. It was great fun and we did a lot of team work!
Everyone has enjoyed our last week in Class 4 in 2021, having a really fun party day, a delicious Christmas lunch and taking part in fun jobs in class. We even made games to help the elves using our scientific knowledge of electricity and circuits!
We had a fantastic day celebrating all things football. Mrs Smith, being Scottish, wanted us to meet her home team. We learned about some famous Scottish landmarks and Scots, designed our own strips and footballs as well as joining in some competitive games. Luckily, the sun stayed out for us to enjoy a picnic outside.

I think it’s fair to say that Class 4 very much enjoyed their outdoor learning this week.
For the first Science lesson on Living Things and their Habitats, we have been learning about the different ways we can group living things.
On Friday, Class 4 held a liturgy for the feast day of St Bernadette.
