Today we have listened to the myth of Medusa the Gorgon.
We made Medusa masks, adding paper snakes for her hair.
Then we thought of some amazing adjectives to help us plan our descriptions of Medusa.

This term our science topic is “Animals, including humans!”
We have been looking at the ways we change as we grow up and we investigated the question:
“Do we get faster as we get older?”
Today we investigated Ancient Greek pottery.
The Natural History museum asked us for help to fix the broken pots.
Once the pots were fixed we discussed the unusual patterns and what we could find out about the Ancient Greeks from these pots.
We have been very busy!
We have had such a lovely afternoon at our Christmas party.
We played lots of fun games such as musical Christmas puddings, the chocolate game, pass the parcel and Christmas corners.
Afterwards, we had a delicious party tea and then we had a surprise visit from Santa Claus himself!
Wow! What an amazing time we have all had!
This morning we have worked together to find out some interesting facts about polar bears.
We were really confident when we presented our fact files to the class.
Welcome aboard the Polar Express…
What at an amazing, fun filled day we have all had in Class 3 today.
This morning we made our very own Polar Express train boxes and completed some fun Polar Express activities.
Our boxes were so creative that the Christmas elves visited during our lunchtime and filled them with surprises!
This afternoon we settled down in our pyjamas to watch the movie.
We enjoyed cookie snacks, a surprise cake from Cooper and Mrs Ferguson and Mrs Weatherill danced up and down the aisles, serving our chocolate milk!
We have had a wonderful day!
Today we delved further into the works of Kandinsky and created our own abstract pictures.
We listened to a variety of songs and used the different sounds to help us “feel” the colours and shapes we wanted to use.
We created a picture that portrays us blowing out our creative thoughts.
Mrs Ferguson was very impressed with our artwork!
