As part of our Sports celebrations, Natalie came in today to carry out our Danceathon. Every class took part and had great fun dancing to some top tracks.
Outdoor Maths!
We enjoyed playing ‘Set the Time’ outside today. Some of us had clocks and needed to set the time. We ran around until the music stopped and then paired up with someone who had clock. We then needed to tell the time to our partner!
Football Commentary
Class 3 love playing football so we decided to go outside and play a game. We split ourselves into two groups and while some of us were playing, the rest of us were writing down what we were watching using present perfect tense. We cannot wait to write our own football commentary about the game.
Outdoor Learning Week!
We have had a great start to our ‘Outdoor Learning’ Week. We worked together to gather natural resources to create a group collage of a steam engine. We will be keeping you informed about our great learning outdoors all week!
Spooky Skeleton on the Loose!
This week Class 3 had discovered a dancing skelton in our school hall using our special cameras in school! We were so excited about this so we created posters to inform others about him and designed and maade traps. Hopefully our trap will capture him in the half term holidays!
What’s the time Mr.Wolf?
We are learning how to tell the time as part of our daily routine. We enjoyed learning to tell the digital time by playing ‘What’s the Time Mr Wolf?’
Reading in the Sun
Class 3 enjoyed reading in the sunshine today!
Deaf Awareness Week
Class 3 enjoyed learning sign language from one very special member of our class family. They learned how to sign their names as well as learn a song using sign language. Miss Brack couldn’t believe how quick they picked it up! What absolute superstars!
Transport through Time!
Class 3 have made a great start to the summer term! They have been learning about how transport has changed over time. Some of them even created a post for our school blog!
Saving our Planet!
As it was Earth hour between 2-3pm, we discussed ways in which we can try and prevent climate change. We then thought it would be important to let our adults know and teach them to look after the earth! We thought it would be a great idea to spread our message on the school yard just in time for home time!
