Today in class 2 we have been learning about the many features of riddles! We were busy finding present tense verbs, question marks, similes, punctuation marks, easy clues at the end and hard clues at the beginning of a riddle. We worked in pairs to find these features.
We are exploring shape in Year Two, we have investigated how many sides a range of 2D shapes have. We have made these shapes using sticks look at the shapes we made! We learnt that a six sides shape is called a hexagon, a five sided shape is called a pentagon, a seven sided shape is a heptagon, an eight sided shape is an octagon, a nine sided shape is a nonagon and a ten sided shape is a decagon! We even made a ten sided shape too !
Look at all the ways we celebrated Earth Day! We have been thinking hard about how we can restore the world! Look at some of the work we did! We watched a Cafod liturgy all about what we can do to help restore our world!
We would like to wish all of our families a very happy and holy Easter…
