We have been learning about partitioning in maths. This week we used a place value chart to partition 2-digit numbers.

We enjoyed searching for different materials on our school grounds and discussed their uses. We then worked together to group their uses.

We are enjoying our outdoor learning sessions with Chris. Today we collected berries and flowers and created some beautiful scents by mixing them together with sticks.

Class 2 were marvellous at representing numbers to 100 using dienes. Well done everyone!

In our English lessons we have been reading the story of the Gingerbread man. We worked together to sequence the story before retelling the story using puppets. Miss Brack and Mrs Pearn heard some lovely vocabulary being used.

Welcome back Class 2! We had a fabulous first week getting to know each other.
