Take a look at some of the fantastic winter projects that have been brought into school.  We have some very creative children and parents!

A very big thank you to all of our parents and carers for supporting your child’s learning at home and school.

Today we learnt all about the advent wreath and that advent is a time of waiting.

We made our own advent wreaths using green handprints to show the everlasting love of Jesus.

We also talked about how we prepare for Jesus’ birthday as we made our own paper chains and decorated our classroom.

Take a look at some of the fantastic work that we have been doing in class 1.

After going on a winter walk we were really interested to see how the trees had changed.  We decided to create our own winter tree pictures using a blow technique and then we added some ice and snow!

We created our own labels for our trees using describing words.

We also had lots of fun using solid cylinder shapes to create our own penguins!

We had a great time sharing our learning with our parents and carers, on our first Family Friday. We had great fun doing dough disco together and enjoyed showing our parents/carers our new classroom.  Phonics is very important in Class 1, so our parents learned how to help us with our phonics at home.

Class 1 now have their own blog.

We will be adding information and images about all the exciting things that happen in our class.
