Today we gathered together for a class liturgy.

We said prayers around the advent wreath as we took time out from the excitement of Advent to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

We had a fantastic time at our Christmas party today.

We had lots of fun and games, a party tea and we were so good that we even had a very special visitor!

It was great to see so many parents and carers at our nativity performance today.

We shared the story of the first Christmas with them and reminded them all of the true meaning of Christmas.

Today we have been making some of the toys that are on our Christmas lists.

We have used Lego bricks to make them and used our super sounds to write labels for them.

Well done class 1! You have made some wonderful winter projects with your families.  I am very impressed with the hard work that has gone into creating these fantastic masterpieces!

It was great to see so many parents and grandparents at our Family Friday today. We had a fantastic time playing, laughing and learning together!

We really enjoyed coming to school dressed for the festive season today.  We had lots of fun doing some Christmas counting, writing letters to Santa Claus and completing some Christmas art and crafts.
