Yum yum – what a delicious Christmas dinner- thank you Mrs Nattress and Mrs Iley and thank you Year One!!
Thank you Year One for an amazing Christmas party we had so much fun playing musical statues, Christmas corners, pass the parcel, waddling Santas and the popcorn of doom!
You are all SUPERSTARS!
This week Year One have been talking about kindness. We have been thinking of all the elderly people who live in Croft House. The children were discussing how they must be feeling during lockdown then we had a great idea to try and make them smile by making them some cards.
Year One your cards are beautiful- I love how you took your time to do your neatest drawing and colouring – Well Done!
Year One have been learning about the significance of Remembrance Day. They then made their own poppies and Remembrance Day Wreaths – Well Done Year One – they are really beautiful!
What a fun time Year One had today. First they made a magic potion- using natural material in our outside areas. They enjoyed thinking about what their magic potion would do- we had lots of great ideas like… make someone fly; make someone super fast; super strong and even turn anything into sweets!
After that Lyndsey lit the fire and we toasted marshmallows and made them into s’mores- YUM!!
Year One have been learning about how much God loves and cares for everyone. Today during prayer time all the children made their own special prayer to thank God for loving and caring for our world. Well Done Year One!
