We have been really enjoying getting to know each other in class 1 and we have created some fantastic posters.  Take a look at some of our fantastic work.

We have had lots of fun with numbers this week.  We have been practising our counting and recognising numbers.  We had great fun making our favourite numbers from salt dough and decorating them with paints and glitter.

The children have settled in very well in class 1 and have been having lots of fun making new friends.

A great time was had by all today as we displayed our musical talents to our parents and carers, who loved our rendition of twinkle, twinkle on the melodica.

We had a great day today with Dr Tom as we continued to work on gaining our diamond learning power by improving our resilience, determination and independence. Dr Tom agreed that the learning power in our classroom is outstanding!

We had such an amazing time with our families today, as we celebrated how much we have grown this year.

We would like to say a big thank you to all of our families for all of their help and support throughout the year.

We have been very busy with preparations for our end of year garden party tomorrow.

We are very excited and cannot wait to welcome our families as we celebrate how much we have grown this year.

We were very excited this week to observe our chicks hatching from their eggs.  We had been waiting patiently for our eggs to hatch and were very excited on Tuesday when cracks started to appear. The chicks were then under close surveillance until they hatched fully into a flurry of excitement in class 1.  We are now thoroughly enjoying helping them grow. 

Today we learnt all about bees and how important they are. We observed the bees in their hives, dressed up as bee keepers and we even got to try some of their delicious honey!
