Great costumes today for our fun run -well done everyone!

We had a great time on the health bus today. We learnt all about how to keep ourselves safe and healthy.

This week we have been learning how to double.  We have had lots of fun making our own ladybird doubles.

Today we have really enjoyed our time with John our sports coach.  We have moved around in different ways pretending to be some of our favourite animals. It was lots of fun.

We held a special liturgy for parents to remember how important our mothers are to us and to thank God for their support in our lives. We also remembered Mary the mother of Jesus and how she is important in guiding our school family. We gave thanks for our mothers and all of the special things they do for us.

We have been learning lots about animals as part of our topic this term.  Today we had a visit from Jays animal encounters, where we learnt a lot about the fantastic animals that he had brought to show us.  Our parents shared in our learning too and we were all very brave!

We have had a fantastic time celebrating books today. Our parents joined us for a creative workshop celebrating our class book this week, ‘walking through the jungle.’ They helped us to make the story setting and characters before we enjoyed more creative workshops throughout the day. We enjoyed oral storytelling around the campfire, stories from other cultures and using puppets and props to re-tell some if our favourite stories from home.

Today we learnt how to stay safe on the internet.  We made our own masks and used role play to re-tell the story of Digiducks.  We made our own protector badges and designed posters to help others stay safe online.
