Class 6 worked hard this morning to explore the meaning of ‘love’. We looked at examples of people showing love in newspapers and in a range of video clips and music. Mrs Wright was so impressed with how thoughtful and mature our discussions were.

Help our school win some money or equipment. Every time you visit Aldi this month and spend £30 or more, collect a sticker and hand it in to school. For 300 stickers, we will receive a free sports kit. Twenty schools will have the chance to win £20,000 to put towards equipment. Get collecting straight away.
We have all been partnered up with a buddy from Year 5 and 6.
They help us to learn our new routines, with our school dinners and they’re there to play with us at playtime.
We’re all such good friends already!
We have had such a fun first day at school, exploring our new classroom and making lots of new friends.
Welcome back to our first term of the new school year. We hope you have all had a good summer. Over the last few months, we have been working hard to revamp our curriculum and we are looking forward to sharing our new ideas and activities with everyone.
Wow! What an amazing first day back at school. Miss Brack enjoyed getting each and every one of you! We enjoyed showing Miss Brack how well we could work together by trying to build the tallest tower!
Miss Brack is so pleased how the children have returned to school. We have an exciting year ahead!

We have really enjoyed this week especially creating our very own Angel of the North! Just look at our happy faces!
During the past few weeks we have been learning all about Antony Gormely, his life and all of his work! We have written a biography and collected lots of facts!
We have now started making our very own Angel of the North! We’ve also sketched and created little sculptures based on his art work.
