A huge well done to Class 3 who completed the Fun Run this morning!
Today was the debut match for our new school football team.
We played some excellent football in the semi final of the George Wilson Cup.
Our first game was a 1-1 draw against Deaf Hill, with a superb goal from Tyler.
We won our second match against Shotton Hall, with an amazing goal from Jack and another from Alfie. Our fantastic goalkeeper, Scott, managed to keep a clean sheet.
Well done boys – you played brilliantly together as a team!
Onwards and upwards for Our Lady of Lourdes!
Class 3 enjoyed working together to verbally retell the ‘Stone Age Boy’.
We began our outdoor learning curriculum with Mrs. Atkinson and we had lots of fun! We worked together as a team and began developing our resilience and problem solving skills. We can’t wait for next Friday!
What a busy first week- Year One have been hard at work learning all about what an amazing animal the snail is. We have made a fantastic snail habitat and really enjoyed finding the materials for it. Well done Year One!
Class 4 had a great time learning outdoors today. We built Roman military camps using anything we could find on the field. We had to think about the best materials to use and how to protect our camp from the enemy.
Class 3 enjoyed practising their dribbling skills in P.E today! Great effort shown by everyone! Well done everyone!
Year 4 have been using lolly sticks and pencils to practise making Roman numerals to help with their learning in Maths.
