We then went to visit Class 3 to introduce our parties and explain our policies. Class 3 then took part in secret ballots to decide which party they wanted to win.

Our trip to Preston Park…
We have had such a wonderful time on our school trip to Preston Park today.
Everywhere looked very Christmassy and we are all feeling very festive now.
We enjoyed so many lovely activities, including ordering sweets in the old fashioned sweet shop, trying on some Victorian clothes and playing wit old toys.
The best part of of our day was learning all about what Christmas was like during the Victorian times. We made Christmas crackers, cards and wreaths.
We have had such an exciting and busy day!
Our first Nativity…
A big well done to all of the children in Reception class for being absolute superstars in their very first Nativity play!
They all learned their words by heart and sang so well too.
What a big job for such small people.
Well done! We are all so proud of you!

Scrumptious Stonehenge
We enjoyed learning about the Stonehenge and creating our own, thinking about the structure.
Roman Visitor
Class 4 had a surprise this morning when they found a Roman General’s wife, Claudia, in the classroom. She just had time to ‘Romanise’ the children before heading off to Africa to join her husband. She taught them some Latin, dressed them in Roman clothes, showed artefacts and answered lots of questions. What a great day!
