Class 3 were fabulous at writing Stone Age poetry so Miss Brack decided they are going to write some Ancient Egyptian poetry. They were so excited! Earlier this week, they worked together to generate some lovely ancient Egyptian themed poetic language.
Class 3 will be leading Mass at church on Wednesday 22nd January. Please join us.
Class 4 have been learning about Conditions in programming. We have started creating a times tables quiz that will check to see if the answer is correct or not and perform an action. It was great fun.
Wow! We were so excited to study real ancient Egyptian artefacts. We discussed what we could learn about the Egyptians by looking at different objects and images!
A musical Wednesday afternoon with recorder practise, followed by using actions to find the pulse as part of listening and appraising of music.
Our topic this half term is “Once Upon a Time,” and this week we have been reading Jack and the Beanstalk.
Today we had a delivery of magic beans and we all followed the instructions to plant our own bean. We made a wish before we planted it and hope that the magic will make our wishes come true!
We have had a very productive week so far working very hard in our class looking at money! We have been selecting different coins to make the same amounts.
