Wow, what a great day! We began our day by designing our own t-shirts about our favourite books and thought about the different vocabulary! Then, we created our own puppets to tell our own story to our friends. This afternoon we had fun outside creating our own fictional character and thought about vocabulary to describe them before we invited our adults into school!

We have been learning about money in Class 3 and enjoyed role playing with our friends to give change!

The boys and girls enjoyed a visit from the PDSA charity and took part in a work shop. They now know how to communicate with dogs! I’m sure they’ll be able to tell you all about it!

Today we had a visit from the PDSA. We had a whole school assembly looking at the work the PDSA does in the community. Class 5 and Class 6 then had an interesting workshop looking at “Animal Heroes” and the fantastic work animals do to keep us safe.

We are enjoying learning about Fair a Trade. Today, we thought about reasons for and against buying a Fair Trade Products before having a class debate. We are going to use these points in our persuasive letters next week!

Miss Brack could not believe how grown up we all were during our debate. We all respected each other’s views and listened carefully to everyone.

Class 3 have created actions to The Gloria to represent how we can give Glory to God. Here are some of our photographs.

We have thoroughly enjoyed reading yet another traditional tale- The Gingerbread Man this week.

We matched the describing words to the different characters.

We really worked hard making our moving gingerbread men in DT. We are so good now at using split pins to make our pictures pivot!

We we also made a great start at making a gingerbread man collage picture using different  materials. Next week, when they are dry, we just need to add the face and buttons.
