Our families joined us for some reading fun at the end of our busy book day. A big thank you to our families for all your support- we loved showing you our t-shirts and sharing our reading with you too!

Wow- what a fun, busy day we have had!

Year One loved showing their favourite books from both home and the classroom. We had a great time designing, drawing and colouring our special book day t-shirts.

We then looked carefully at the special books and looked at all the interesting words in them.

One member of our class family went on holiday to Malaysia to visit his family. While he was there, he completed his very own project about Malaysian fruit! Class 3 were fascinated to hear about the different fruit he found! We can’t wait to display it in our reading corner for us to read!

Today we have been celebrating World Book Day. We made our own t-shirts based on our favourite books and made sure to include lots of vocabulary. We then showed our artwork to each other and the rest of our school. Everyone had a great World Book Day!
