Please read the information in the links below for Parents/Carers explaining how to support children to stay safe online.
Our amazing new canopy…
The builders from Pentagon Play have been busy installing a new canopy on our Early Years classroom.
After a lot of hard work and commitment from staff behind the scenes, we were delighted to be informed that we had won a bid to have a canopy installed which would make our outdoor classroom even more accessible.
We cannot wait for the children to use it and we have lots of plans to ensure it will benefit everyone in our school, as well as the wider community.
I’m sure you will all agree that it looks fabulous!
Busy day with the key worker children!
Welcome Back
Welcome back to our first remote summer term! We hope that you have enjoyed some happy and relaxing days over the holidays.
As you are aware, over Easter, we have developed our new ‘home learning’ provision which can be found on the school website. Hopefully, you have found it useful and easy to access. Our intention is to change the English and maths weekly and the other activities every 3 weeks.
Please remember that while we are setting these tasks to support children’s learning and help maintain routine, we recognise, as mentioned previously, that many of you are also working from home or are facing other challenges. Please just do what you can and allow the children to do what they can without worrying.
While we can’t say yet when we’ll be able to open the school fully, rest assured that we are here for you and your children over the coming days and weeks. You are doing an amazing job to support your children’s well-being and learning.
To the children-we love seeing examples of your learning at home-keep sending them in as we miss you in school and they make us smile! Remember to let your light shine in all you do and say!
Working hard at home.
Some more amazing pieces of work from Year Two who have been busy creating a brand new pet and writing instructions to help look after it. They have had lots of fun with fractions this week. They’ve been very creative at home as well.
It’s great to see you staying fit and healthy creating obstacle course and healthy meal plans.
I’m so proud of you all!
Keep staying safe Year 2!
Miss Harker.
Earth Day 2020
Today is Earth Day and our key worker children have been learning about how they can help to protect our world.
They made posters and commitment crafts to show how they could help.

Colourful ‘Stained Glass’
Our Key Worker children have been busy over the Easter holidays, creating rainbow effect ‘stained glass’ patterns to place in their windows. We are very impressed with the results, they will look amazing at home.
Celebrating Easter at Home
To all of our wonderful children and families.
We thought the links below might be useful to you. Please view them if you wish. The Stations of the Cross were made by our Youth Ministry Team in school, along with other members of Youth Ministry teams in local schools and ‘Holy Week at Home’ is a Diocesan Resource.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
#ThisIsPE home learning
The Association for Physical Education are working with educators to support parents to deliver PE related activities at home. The aim is to continue the development of pupils fundamental, cognitive and physical skills. Videos are posted at 1pm on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
You do not need to be in PE kit and don’t need sports equipment. All the videos will use things that you can find around the home. To view the videos, visit the youtube playlist below #ThisIsPE
