Please see the attached letter from Mrs Smith detailing important information for Year 4 children starting September 2020.
Parent support for keeping children safe online and on gaming devices
During Covid-19 our Children and Young People may have been spending more time than usual online or on gaming devices.
It can be hard for parents, grandparents, teachers and carers to keep up with the latest games, apps and social media. To help with this, the NSPCC site http://www.net-aware.org.uk provides important information on the activities your children may be undertaking.
On the main screen there is a search box, simply key in the name of the particular game, App or social media and it will give you a summary of what it is, identify any risks and explain how you can take simple steps to make things safer.
It also includes useful information such as:
- Age rating
- An expert view of the risks
- Top tips for usage
- Top tips for staying safe

Goodbye and Good Luck, Mrs Wigham
We said a fond farewell to one of our longest-serving staff members at the end of this term. Just like our Year 6 leavers, Mrs Wigham was presented with her very own hoodie, as well as many other gifts. She will be a great miss, although she has promised to come back and see us all in September. We wish her the very best for a long and happy retirement.
Year 6 Leavers Performance
Year 6 have worked well to create their own farewell message following a very different and unusual year. Good luck to our class of 2020, who now go on to their secondary schools.
