9 October 2020 By spidrwebadmin

A big well done to all of our amazing children in Reception class for completing their very first Fun Run.

Every single one of them completed 3 laps of our huge playground and crossed the finish line!

A huge thank you to all of our kind families for their generous sponsors too!

Marvellous Maths!

6 October 2020 By spidrwebadmin

Miss Brack is so impressed with Class 3’s maths skills! They are continuing to show great resilience and determination when partitioning 3-digit numbers and exploring number lines with a blank piece of card and a paper clip!

“I know the paper clip will be in the middle because 500  is half of 1000.”

“10 is closer to 0 which means it will be closer to the beginning.”

Marvellous Mathematicians…

5 October 2020 By spidrwebadmin

We use numbers and mathematical language all day long in Reception class – when we are playing, when sorting out the wellies and even when we’re building imaginary lands with the bricks.

We love to show off how clever we are at ordering and recognising numbers too!

Super Science

29 September 2020 By spidrwebadmin

Class 4 have been busy in Science this week. We went outside to carry out a nature study, where we identified the types of leaves we found, looked at the weather, creatures we found and did some scientific sketching. Later in the week, we investigated complete and incomplete circuits in our Electricity Unit.

World Mental Health Day – Hello Yellow!

28 September 2020 By spidrwebadmin

On Friday 9th October we will be celebrating World Mental Health Day in school. The theme this year is ‘Togetherness’ and ‘You are not alone’ and each class will be completing a range of activities throughout the day.

During the day the children will also be taking part in the school fun run and we would like to ask the children to wear their yellow polo top with tracksuit bottoms to show our support towards ‘Hello Yellow’.
