Santa Dash

Children got creative, designing their own Christmas-themed headbands to complete the Santa Dash around the yard. There were even a few red noses, moustaches and beards to complete the look. Well done everyone for joining in some festive, healthy fun.

Thomas in class two has been doing a lot of charity work during the lockdown. He has raised over £1000 for the charity 4Louis. He ran 17 miles in 17 days over lockdown. He was then nominated for a County Durham Together Award, he was the only child to be nominated! What an amazing achievement!

Excellent Charity Work

A member of our school community has taken part in brilliant acts of charity! Archie in Class 5 sent out an appeal for donations to the East Durham Trust, an organisation which helps to feed families in the East Durham area. Archie collected over 70 selection boxes, which will be given to children this Christmas, along with other donated items and gave them to the East Durham Trust this week. His hard work was very much appreciated, and our whole school community are very proud of his charitable work. Great work Archie!
