In our English lessons we began reading our story ‘Mr Wolf’s Pancakes’. We need to write Mr Wolf a set of instructions to explain how to make pancakes. Before we do this, we need to make pancakes ourselves! We enjoyed eating our yummy pancakes!

We had so much fun taking part in the Fun Run with our year 5 buddies!
A big thank you to all of our lovely families for sponsoring us.
We had a great time!
We had so much fun making potions this week.
We even washed up the bowls when we were finished!
What superstars!
We have loved looking at the autumn treasures we collected at the weekend.
We used the magnifying glasses to look closely at them and then we made some funny, autumn faces!
It has been such a wild and windy couple of days and it made it tricky for us to explore our usual areas.
We didn’t let the pesky wind stop us from having fun though. Instead, we made kites and took them outside to fly.
We had so much fun!
In our art lessons, we have been studying the work of Antony Gormley. We identified our favourite and least favourite and discussed why.
We have been learning about partitioning in maths. This week we used a place value chart to partition 2-digit numbers.
We enjoyed searching for different materials on our school grounds and discussed their uses. We then worked together to group their uses.
We would like to say a huge thank you for all contributions made towards our Macmillan fundraising event on Friday. We are thrilled to share that together we raised £234 for this very special charity. A special thank you also goes to Morrisons at Dalton Park, who donated some cakes towards this event.
