Go Well “Heart Project”

13 January 2022 By spidrwebadmin

Go Well “Heart Project”

On Wednesday 12th January, we launched the start of the Go Well “Heart Project” across school. The programme lasts for 12 weeks and all children/families in Classes 2-6 have received a bag of equipment that they can use to help them complete the weekly challenges set in their activity books.

The aim of the “Heart Project” is to support children to be active at home with their families and friends. At the end of the 12 weeks, children will receive a medal, certificate and information of where they can continue to keep active in the community. We hope the children enjoy taking part in the project!

All classes celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany on 6th January.  This day commemorates the visit of the three Kings to the newborn Jesus and traditionally marks the end of Christmas celebrations.

We hope that this Epiphany brings with it all happiness, love and light.

Journey through Advent – The Christmas Story

Journey through Advent – The Christmas Story

Christmas

“She wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them at the inn.” Luke 2:7

Christ Jesus,
as we celebrate your birth in a stable
we remember all those among us
who are left out, who live in poverty,
who are homeless
and who long to go home.
Make room in our hearts
for our sisters and brothers,
so that we may reach out to them in love.
Amen
